Founded in Montpellier at the end of 2016 by three former Intel employees; Hatem Oueslati, Jacques Bourhis and David Navarro, IoTerop develops innovative IoT technologies that enable manufacturers to build a new generation of secure, interoperable and remotely manageable solutions for connected devices.
Private Partner brought its expertise and experience to IoTerop’s founders to make this first round of financing a success, raising €M 1.5 from Breega, Irdi-Soridec and Frédéric Salles, founder of Matooma.
Already one of the world leaders in OMA Lightweight M2M technology, IoTerop is now in the ideal position to further develop its technology, accelerate its expansion and increase its international sales, particularly in the United States and Japan, where IoT is experiencing very strong growth.
Hatem Oueslati, Co-founder and CEO of IoTerop, adds “ We quickly decided to structure our first fundraising with Private Partner so that to close it in the fatest time and best conditions possible. Private Partner played in key role in all the stages of this process: documents preparation, structuring and front-facing with the VCs, follow-ups and negotiations with them until the final closing. Pascale’s experience in fundraising, in additional to her truly committed mindset on quality, reactivity, results-oriented have been a key success factor for us. Fundraising is a complex and codified process, with no place to improvisation, requiring a specific expertise. Go and get Private Partner’s support is the best advice I can give to entrepreneurs willing to raise funds! “ “
